About2 Be 3 was a French boysband formed by Frank Delay, Adel Kachermi & Filip Nikolić, from Longjumeau, France. Their name is a play on the French expression "pour être libre". In October 1996, they released their first single "Partir Un Jour", which sold 800,000 copies. Their debut album, with the same name, came out in January 1997 & sold 2 million copies. The second single, "Toujours Là Pour Toi" was a French adaptation of Rick Astley's hit "Never Gonna Give You Up". After the re-release of their album & their singles "Donne" & "La Salsa", the 3 men played in a TV series, "Pour Être Libre", aired on TF1, with 2.7 million viewers.
In 1998, their second self-titled album came out, including "Don't Say Goodbye" & "Regarde-Moi". Their wax statues appeared in Musée Grévin & 2 Be 3 performed at Paris' Bercy with 18,000 people. In 1999, Frank, Adel & Filip left EMI, went to the United States & the following year, they signed to Edel. Their English album Excuse My French, produced by Desmond Child & recorded in Miami, came out in 2000, including the singles "Excuse My French" & "Even If". The album was successful only in Asia. The 3 men stopped their musical career in 2001.

Filip Nikolić was born on September 1, 1974 in Saint-Ouen, France. He has become an actor, playing in the film "Simon Sez" with Dennis Rodman & the TV series "Brigade Navarro". In 2005, his daughter Sasha was born. He also participated to the French version of "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here" in April 2006. He died on September 16, 2009 at 35 years old.
Frank Delay has become an actor too, playing in short films, he also created his cloth brand "Ascom". He has 2 sons, Jay-Lee & Kézian. From February to March 2005, Frank participated to "Première Compagnie", the French version of "Celebrity Boot Camp".
Adel Kachermi was born on December 2, 1975 in Longjumeau, France. He has founded a Hi-tech society & organised events. In 2001, his son Idryss was born. In 2005, Adel organised the festival "La Musique Fait Son Cinéma".
