On August 17th, 2009, Aly, one half of 78violet, premiered a song from their upcoming selftitled fourth album. The track is called "Next Worst Thing", is written by Alyson Michalka, Amanda Michalka, Rivers Cuomo (Weezer) and Mike Elizondo. The song is from the rock genre, and talks about breaking out of "this plastic pop doll world" and "becoming real 'again'." It showcasts a preview of the maturity of the new moniker abum.
