Talentless dime a dozen pop singers who'll disapear into the ether only to be replaced with some new pretty faced dimwitt often use vocal shifters to make it sound like they can sing, or to cover over where they've gone beyond their vocal limitations (or simply off key). But thats not the case here, maynard can most definatly sing and has just changed the recording to better suit what he wanted for the song. Which is what that sort of equipment should be used for - not to make talentless pretty girls "sing" and sell albums purely on sex appeal. |
