Long way to the top was one of AC/DC's most popular songs when it was released, the most popular in Australia...school of rock was released in 2003. The only people who would have caught onto this song because of that movie would be the "jump on the bandwagon" AC/DC song liker...just like what happened when "T.N.T." was put on tony hawks pro skater 4. This song was made famous by the ammount of support it had WHEN IT WAS RELEASED on AC/DC's second album "T.N.T.".
It was known as one of the greatest AC/DC songs ever long before school of rock. I'm going to assume you know nothing about AC/DC and you shouldn't say anything about them until you learn enough about their history.

Seriously, AC/DC didn't get much fame from school of rock. There is a reason it's in the fucking movie, It's becouse it's rock history, It's becouse their famous.
Personaly, that's one of my favorite movies, I love Jack Black, I love all the bands in the movie and I love the kids. The theme song is cool to.
And I personaly don't think i fucked the song up, but you can't beat the original.
But were talkin about fuckin ac/dc here. For those about to rock, schools out for summer, highway to hell, this song, TNT, back in black and the list goes on. These guys are in the hall of fame in rock history. Not many bands have this influence on the rock history.
Among with The doors, Ramones, Sex Pistols, led zeppelin, Dire Straits, Turbonegro these guys are among my all time favorites.

Fuck Jack Black and fuck School of Rock. I saw a video on YouTube the other day from 2003 with the Foo Fighters playing Back In Black with Jack Black singing. What a fucking horrendous wanker. Bloody hell I hate him! He can't rest at just massacring IALWTTT, but then goes on to massacre BIB. Barstard.
