22,426 posts	ahh lala i heart TAI. i met them a couple of years ago when they were just the academy & opened up for Fall Out Boy, & beckett let me play with his hair, ive been in love with them ever since! they are great musically, & great as a band, nice to their fans & such. im dying for a new album though.

22,426 posts	yeah they switched labels after the academy ep, & fbr was like "yo we dont need lawsuits so change it cause another much suckier band goes by the name the academy"

23 posts	I love The Academy Is. Their songs are so sweet and easy going yet they're pretty unpredictable. They're unique and totally fucking awesome. They've got their own sound and are not a typical band. I love them and their album Almost Here is really good. I listen to the whole album all the way through everyday at work. Yeah! The Academy Is Rocks my socks. They kick ass!
