It's not totally the same anyway because he changed it a bit because he has sing for the moment in it and in dream on you don't even have that line in it.. I think aerosmith has some other great songs too they're really good I think it's really cool that all you guys like it too.. Dream on..

768 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal lol.. its funny how ignorant everyone is! eminem just took the chorus and okay we all have our opinions but personally i like 'sing for the moment'. just because a rapper 'remade' a rock song doesnt mean it sucks. and i like the solo in 'sing for the moment' at the end (which i've almost learnt) which is a plus for eminems version

Right there with Stairway to Heaven, Hotel California, Layla, Pour some sugar on me, Baba O'riley, American pie, and several more but I don't want to take up TOO much time. I am a fan of any kind of music that I feel is good. I do enjoy the Eminem version and like the spin he put on it, but it is NOT a copy of Dream on. The Aerosmith version is much better but it isn't something you can put side by side because it isn't the same time period, genre, and the lyrics aren't exactly the same. Anyway, I love Aerosmith and although they have been more into some pop songs the last decade I will always be a fan.
