Crash Love-New Album

 AFI's 8th full length album is due out September 29,2009.
The title is "Crash Love."There are 12 tracks and 2 hidden songs on Crash Love.The Begin Transmission winners and Nick 13 from Tiger Army will be providing back-up vocals.AFI has release the following song tiiles: End Transmission,Medicate,I Am Trying Very Hard To Be Honest,Veronica Sawyer Smokes,and Beautiful Thieves.Davey Havok,AFI's vocalist, says "After two years of focused writing and recording we have finished Crash Love in it's entirety and are thrilled to hear it come to life - personally, I've never been more proud of an AFI record. We are writing to announce that on Sept 29th it will be released to the world. We wanted you to know first and do hope that you enjoy it!"
Havok also stated "Markedly different direction in majority content on record. Traditionally introversion, more personal outlook. Viewpoints still personal. More social commentary, what's going on in culture, decline of art and substance, allure of what's going on in culture and affecting both people who aspire to that, are involved with it, and are involved in the cult of celebrities. Sympathetic point of view from one side, less sympathetic from other side. In some moments you see more traditional lyrical styles."
A Summer Tour is planned followed by the release of either the EP "Carcinogen Crush" or a single containg Crash Love songs.
