ok... some of you have been bitching about how "AFI has changed their style" boo freaking hoo, you're noticeing this NOW??? JESUS!!! IF YOU'RE SO FREAKING OBSESSED WITH THEM HOW COME YOU DIDNT NOTICE BEFORE? I haven't been litsening to them THAT long but y'know if you go to yahoo music and spend at least 1 minute litsening to all of their video's, YOU'LL SEE THE DIFFERENCE!!! one moth litsening to them and i could see it....jesus christ! now don't get me wrong, i think davie is hot (uber hot) and he's got an exellent voice, and DECEMBERUNDERGROUND is an awsome CD, for the past 3 days it's all i've been playing on my ipod. it's just, some of you claim to have been with them since the begining, why didn't you see???
oh and don't bother trying to e-mail me saying i'm wrong, look yourself on that site...i gaurantee you'll see it...

Bloody good work on this song, Davey and the boys should be damn proud of themselves on this achievement.
For those of you bitching, maybe you should have listened to their album that was released last year...you'd have noticed the beginnings of some major change.
Is it really so wrong for a band to 'adapt' to the changing times in our world...certainly not...
Look at Manson's "Golden Age of the Grotesque"...it got the same thing "Decemberunderground" is getting right now.

one of the best songs on the record =) those boys are absoutely talented ^-^ anyways.... for those of you who's talking about them changing.. you need to expect that. if you havent noticed, they change a bit every album, because they know that if their new record is similar to their old ones, then fans would be really disappointed. they say it during interview, they try something knew each record so it'll be different every record =) they also would not like to rush through records because they think they can do better if they dont rush. i'm not saying you guys should know all of these stuff, sometimes, no matter how obsessed with a band/person you are, you'll always miss some information on them. also, we're human and human make mistakes. so that's why dont flame at other people about making mistakes/missing a piece of information about their favourite band/person. afi is my favourite band and will always be =) people also say "OMG THEY'RE SO HOT! THEY'RE MY FAVOURITE BAND!" maybe you fell into their music by their appearance, not by the music they have created for you. i, personally, think that they're all great look and their music is more than fantastic, spatactular(if that's how you spell it) and WAY MORE than fabulous =) just the best in the wrold ^-^

the song i think is about a love that didn't love him back "i promise you my heart, you'd promise to keep" and then when she doesn't i think his gift is his suicide "kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep" and also "this is what i brought you this you can keep i promise to depart just promise to sing" i think his gift is his death because she didn't keep his heart it's almost a sarastic song. of course i could be wrong and i'm very open to hearing what other people think but thats either my intended or alternative interpretation. |
