Composer of the film soundtrack "Les Chansons D'Amour", for which he got a César this year, Alex Beaupain releases his new album 33 Tours, with Ludivine Sagnier & Chiara Mastroianni, including the first single "I Want To Go Home".
Alex Beaupain, born in Besançon in 1974, is a French singer, songwriter & film soundtrack composer. He composed the soundtrack of "Les Chansons D'Amour", last year's success in cinemas, for which he got a César for "Best Film Soundtrack". Former Sciences Po student, he also composed songs for Christophe Honoré's films "17 Fois Cécile Cassard" in 2002 & "Dans Paris" in 2006.
The singer released his first album in 2005, including 11 songs, Garçon D'Honneur. The new album 33 Tours is the follow-up, sounding like 80's pop melt with French lyrics, helped by Christophe Honoré, Frédéric Lo, Ludivine Sagnier, Clotilde Hesme & Chiara Mastroianni. The first single "I Want To Go Home" proves it.
Also, the "very class" Alex Beaupain will perform at Paris' Boule Noire on October 9 & 10.
