Alizée signed to Jive

 Jive/Epic, the label of Julien Doré, Ycare, Rim'K & Archimède, will add Alizée to its catalogue from October. The newly-signed singer will release her fourth album soon.
After the cancellation of her concerts in Paris & the half-failure of her third album Psychédélices (50,000 copies sold), released in 2007, Alizée was very successful in Mexico.
Now, the singer turned this atypic page & prepares the follow-up, newly signed to Jive/Epic (not on RCA/Sony anymore), the label of Julien Doré, Ycare, Rim'K & Archimède. She talks to her audience via Twitter, she's working with the band Château Marmont & some songs have already been mixed. "For some weeks, I've been working on my new album, different from what I used to do. I'm looking forward to presenting it to you" she recently said.
According to some sources, her fourth album should be inspired by Edie Sedgwick, an American actress & model whose life has been marked by splits, psychiatric troubles & drug addiction.
The album is scheduled for October 2009.
