American Hi-Fi was formed in Boston Mass. in 1998. Stacy Jones was in many other bands (Letters to cleo, Verica Salt) as a drummer beforehand. Stacy taught himself to play the guitar in the back of the tour bus, using just a Mel Bay's guitar book. After the Verica Salt tour, Stacy formed his own band with three of his friends, Brian Nolan, Jamie Arentzen and Drew Parsons. they were in other bands but they sat around, drink Beer and play Cheap trick covers. In the Summer, Stacy headed to Maui...

dear biteXme imXrad. The song IS actually called 'flavour of the WEAK' it is a play on words. Easy mistake to make.

I really do enjoy this song. The melody/rhythm is wicked cool! The only problem... the lyrics. Sure, they're ok, but I think they're kind of stupid... Thats the only major downfall for me. Other then that, this song is pretty good.

this song is so cool, but it would be even cooler if they didn't steal "even the losers get lucky sometimes" from Tom Petty's Even The Losers song (which you should also check out). anyways..great song by one of the best bands i've heard in a long time!
