Back from a trip to West Indies, Amy Winehouse went back to work, but she decided to go reggae & her label disliked it : they told her to make it again ! That's not fair...
Back To Black has been successful everywhere in the world & Amy Winehouse's label wouldn't like her to take a radical step ! Because it's happening... According to "The Sun", back from a trip to West Indies, the singer went back to work, with a reggae sound, her record company dislikes it. "I decided to stop my soul side for a while, that has been my mark, now I go reggae" she said.
Her record company doesn't like the lyrics either, they're about her relationship with her former husband Blake Fielder-Civil. "Lyrics are very dark. Everybody understands that Amy is an artist & she must be honest with herself. Before that, she wrote lyrics about breakups & boyfriends, now she goes through overwhelming ways" a friend of the artist's said to the English magazine.
Whereas the songs' quality aren't put into question, it's the danger taken for such an album that worries her label Polydor. They asked "Rehab" singer to make it again ! That's not fair... With no creativity, for the record company. We must be aware of the surprise !
