Anaís Martinez - News
Album Review and New Single Chosen!

Anaís has chosen "Solo Mio" to be the second single from her Con Todo Mi Corazón album. Listen to it here.
**My opinion: Bad choice. She should do something uptempo for a change. She only releases slow ballads! Her last uptempo single was her debut single "Atrapada"! She should have gone for "Sexy Mama" or "Necesidad". "Necesidad" seems to be one of the favorites from the album, even critics like it most.**

Anaís Martinez' second album, Con Todo Mi Corazón was a bit of a disappointment. Anais pushes her vocal way through some big pop ballads and has some interesting moments with guests Milly Quezada, Sergio Vargas and Grupo Montez de Durango.
The CD is not terrible, but it's not great either. If you're a big Anais fan, you'll probably enjoy it. If not, just say no.
Pros
*** Anais voice is strong and consistent, especially in "Necesidad"
*** Guest stars Milly Quezada and Sergio Vargas
Cons
*** Predictable and not very exciting
*** Lots of ballads that might not touch your heart

Guide Review:
Anais hit the road running with Así Soy Yo, her debut album after winning the 2005 Objectivo Fama season. Teaming up again with producer Sergio George, her sophmore effort Con Todo Mi Corazón is a bit underwhelming.
The album opener "Tu Amor No Es Garantía" is a pop ballad that showcases Anais' voice; the voice is strong but the track just comes across as predictable and ordinary - as do the next two ballad, "Solo Mio" and "Quiero Amanecer Con Alguien". Just as my eyes were starting to close, "Necesidad" broke the spell with a little r&b flavor that was a really welcome change of pace, followed by 2 more forlorn tear jerkers.
When the guests join Anais, the music picks up a little. There's a pop and merengue version of "Reencuentro" with Milly Quezada and Sergio Vargas that wasn't bad; I liked the merengue styling better. The Duranguense version of "Tu Amor No Es Garantia", featuring Grupo Montez De Durango was unexpected and interesting.
The big surprise number was Anais vamping her way through "Sexy Mama" in a Pussycat Doll simulation.
Now that's a video that might be worth seeing.
