| Great band, I saw them with Taking Back Sunday on wednesday. He may not be AS funny as when he was with blink, but he still knows how to tell a joke, thats for sure.

so i can't stand blink 182 - the guys voice is whiney and horrible and i do not find pleasure listening to it - so i was like.. "im not going to like angels and airwaves"
ohhhh how wrong i was...
so we're at the foo fighters gig.. yes you heard correctly - their hyde park gig - biggest they've ever done... what an amazing day.. but anyway..
angels and airwaves are one of their support acts... and i swear they were the best ones there - he doesnt whine at all - its actually a nice thing to listen to!! and they have some sort of synth stuff too which i adore..
favourite song is distraction.... purely because i only know about 4 of their songs and thats the one i like the most - was brilliant live and the singer guy really got the crowd going with the lyrics - even though he mumbled and we had no idea what to sing back so it sounded like.. | as much as i miss blink, angels & airwaves definitely make up for them, they're a great band and i love Tom DeLonge's voice

| I agree, sometimes the blink factor is ten times better then the stuff Tom did with out the other two but as time goes on my iTunes tally is going up. According to how many times Ive played a song (when ive been in the mood), my fav ones are Distraction, The gift, and Do it for me now, which have all been played at least 30 times each. yeah and I hate it when peeps diss FAll out boy (best band IN THE WorlD!) but hey blink182girlxxl, it happens. just get over it like i sort of did. kind of. not really. yeah im still angry. nvm. forget i said anything.

| Just saw them last night, and they really delivered, especially Tom.
Although, he didn't speak until after like 6 songs, when he did speak, it was heavenly.
They played Reckless Abandon by Blink-182, and My First Punk Song by Boxcar Racer, which were excellent.
He told his story that he always tells about the boy and the girl falling in love, and made a joke about her vagina, it seems he's really happy, and although it's sad about Blink-182 splitting up, if Angels and Airwaves perform like this every night, then it's okay, it's alright if they split up, for something as incredible as this. |
