New Single - Brianstorm

The Arctic Monkeys' latest single is surprisingly aggressive and demanding. It also seemed to blend in well with show opener Klaxons-- the short track's drums and bass are speed metal-fast, much too quick to dance to. There's no time to breathe during its two-and-a-half minutes anyway. Each time the song moves to a slightly tamer-- though more jittery-- verse, it swings back to surf guitar and intense, double-speed drumming.
