| Clarika (real name Claire Keszei) was born on February 3, 1967 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Her mother was a French teacher & her father was a poet from Hungary. She started music in a brass orchestra, playing the small flute. She participated to various bands while studying French. After acting lessons, Clarika met Jean-Jacques Nyssen, who fell in love with the young woman (they had 2 children). The couple went to record companies until their songs were accepted.
