 Alain Bashung was born on December 1, 1947 in Paris, France. Abandoned by his father, he grew up in Wingersheim, learnt harmonica & performed in a school choir. At 12, he went back to Paris & discovered rock, imitating American singers & founding his first band. After lots of 7", concerts & collaborations, success didn't come.
