| Chimène Badi was born on October 30, 1982 in Melun, France. She grew up in Villeneuve-sur-Lot, near Agen. She has one brother, Karim & one sister, Déborah. Since she was 5, she wanted to become a singer. Her dream was to be in the TV show "L'Ecole Des Fans" ! Years later, as she didn't know how to enter the showbiz, she studied agronomy until "Popstars" casting was launched.
