 Marc Lavoine was born on August 6, 1962 in Longjumeau, France. During his teens, he hesitated between acting & singing and started to write songs. However, at 16, he became a member of an acting club & was an usher at Paris' Olympia. He attended many concerts with French stars & met Fabrice Aboulker, who became his composer & producer.
