| Patricia Kaas was born on December 5, 1966 in Forbach, France. Her mother was German & her father was French. At 8, she started singing in piano-bars with songs from many artists : Sylvie Vartan, Claude François, Mireille Mathieu & Liza Minnelli. In balls & family parties, Patricia started her musical career & recorded her first single "Jalouse" in 1985, not successful but opening the doors of success.
