 Juliette Gréco was born on February 7, 1927 in Montpellier, France. She grew up in Bordeaux. In 1933, her family moved to Paris & Juliette became a dancer at Paris' Opéra. After World War II, she became a muse in 2 Parisian quarters, Saint-Germain-Des-Prés & Latin Quarter. Juliette recorded her first song in 1949, famous writers & poets wrote lyrics for her, far from popular music.
