 Véronique Marie-Line Sanson was born on April 24, 1949 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Daughter of a lawyer, she started playing the piano. In 1966, during summer holiday, Véronique & her sister Violaine met François Bernheim & founded a duet, Les Roche-Martin. Véronique left university & went to recording studios, where she met Michel Berger. The duet recorded 2 7", unsuccessful, so Véronique went solo. In 1972, she released her first album Amoureuse.
