Melissa on "Dirty Dancing" and sophomore album

In an interview with 680 News, Melissa O'Neil confirmed that she is in the Toronto stage production for "Dirty Dancing". She disclosed that because of her hectic schedule, Sony has decided to place the sophomore album on "pause".

Melissa stated that because she does not have a set schedule, recording and writing for her next album would be difficult. Melissa indicated that once she has a set schedule, she'll be able to work around rehearsals and record her next album.

"Dirty Dancing" is schedule to run until April 2008.
