Cirkus Miramar is a Swedish pop group from around Trollhättan, founded in 1994 by most of the members of Hyacinthuset.
The music originates from swedish pop-, punk- and rock music with very peculiar and nearly literar lyrics and music that stretches over a quantity of genres and intricate arrangement and songs.
Lyric writer and singer is the poet, besides art- and culture veteran Pär Mauritzson. The group's concerts always opens with one - or a couple of poems by Johan Lindblom (Elefantmannen).
They are responsible of the releases of their own albums and they sell them on the Internet and at concerts.
