3 Doors Down scored a surprise hit single when "Kryptonite," a song from a self - produced CD, started receiving heavy airplay on a local radio station. Brad Arnold (vocals), Matt Roberts and Chris Henderson (guitars), Todd Harrell (bass) and Rich Liles (drums), hailing from Escatawpa, MS, cultivated a dedicated, growing fan base in the South and then traveled to New York to play a showcase at the renowned New York club, CBGBs. This is the way i would interpret the song... The guy in the song found a 17 year old girl walking down the road. I'm assuming this from later on in the song where it says ---> "That things like this could happen, to a 17-year old. and "Walkin down that road alone" He then brought her to a motel ---> "In the glare of a neon sign" Him putting the money on the table... »
