 Serge Lama (real name Serge Chauvier) was born on February 11, 1943 in Bordeaux, France. His father was a professional singer. In the 60's, Serge wrote his first songs & went to Mireille's Petit Conservatoire. He performed in Parisian cabarets & released his first 7" in 1964. In 1965, he had a car accident & recovered during months. He came back in 1967 with his first hit "Les Ballons Rouges" & recorded his first album. In the 70's, Lama got a lot of hits & went on stage.
