| Matt Pokora (real name Matthieu Tota) was born on September 26, 1985 in Strasbourg, France. At 12, his parents divorced & he started writing songs instead of going to school. In 2003, he participated to the TV show "Popstars". Matthieu, Otis & Lionel were the members of Linkup. After the end of the band, Matthieu started his solo career. He wanted his name to be "Matt" but a French R&B singer, Matt Houston, already had this name : Matthieu chose the name Pokora which means "humility" in Polish. ... » |
