5 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal i listened to the rest of her songs from autobiography on mtv's website and i have to say, i think it will take me some time to get used to her music. but i love 'pieces of me' and i instantly liked this song! it's really nice lyrically and i love the chorus, coz it's so simple and just true to everyone who takes things for granted....it's a really beautiful song, i hope ashlee releases this next!

"Big burning, yeah" Correct lyrics: "Big burning bed" I personally love the line: "Hey you, you turned your back on your children, and that's left you in the big burning bed," I like that line because, there aren't enough songs about parents mistreating their kids.

And sure, lala is about sex, but it isn't about sex with multiple partners. It is about one person. Ashlee is a good rolemodel no matter what people say. She sings how she wants, and she does what she wants, and because of that, she is happy. I'm broken, I'm pickin up the pieces.

When I first heard ''Pieces Of Me'' I thought Ashlee Simpson would be another teen pop girl just like Hilary Duff on ''Metamorphosis''. Some days ago, I heard ''Autobiography''. I thought I was right. The song is cool but not the rocky Ashlee Simpson style. On her second single, ''Shadow'' I realized I wasn't completely right. It was different but not the completely rock style. Ha, when I heard ''La La'' I was stunned. I heard it on the radio I thought the singer was Liz Phair, Skye Sweetnam or even Avril Lavigne, when I heard ''La La'' is by Ashlee Simpson I couldn't believe it. Even now, that I learnt the lyrics, I can't believe is Ashlee Simpson. Is more Liz Phair's style. Now, I'm downloading ''Giving It All Away'' and I haven't heard it all but, for the part I've heard I was amazed, the song is really awesome. ABOUT THE WHOLE DISC: I think ''Autobiography'' is a mixed up disc. Rock-Pop disc for everyone to hear. It has Pop songs like ''Sorry'', ''Pieces Of Me'' and ''Autobiography'' Cool Rock ballads like ''Loving Me For Me'', ''Giving It All Away'' and ''Love Makes The World Go Round''. Sexy songs like ''La La'' and even ''Just Let Me Cry''. Angry songs like ''Surrender'' and ''Shadow''. The other songs are something mix. Maybe the CD of the year.
