New single, Causes Perdues

Bernard Lavilliers After "L'Exilé" & "Angola", Bernard Lavilliers chose "Causes Perdues" as the third single from his new album Causes Perdues Et Musiques Tropicales, an album that received the Victoire de la Musique for "Best Album". At 64, he still remains a great artist !

With his recognizable voice, Bernard Lavilliers sings the misery of the world with an optimistic eye. For his 19th album, the artist didn't throw his pen away. No, he took it again to write black lyrics, with sublime summer lyrics. Bernard Lavilliers has been doing it for years. His new single "Causes Perdues" proves this, it'll be the third single from his new album, after "L'Exilé" & "Angola".

Listen to "Causes Perdues" here.

Reggae, salsa or rock... So many musical arrangements, Bernard Lavilliers is still faithful to them. The singer doesn't hide his convictions, with "État Des Lieux", about sentiments in the world. Released on November 15, 2010, Causes Perdues Et Musiques Tropicales is a check-up : "One day, Miterrand invited some artists at the Elysée, like Renaud & me. He asked me : "Bernard, what are you doing at the moment ?", I replied : "As usual, I sing lost causes on tropical music." Lost causes are the most beautiful, of course, but I shouldn't call an album only Causes Perdues". You have been many of you to answer his call : his new album is still in French album charts & you have been many to see him live, from February 4 in Evry. Bernard Lavilliers presented his new songs, from March 5 to 13 at Paris' Olympia.
