 Yes, "If I Were A Boy" is a hit. But did you know that Beyoncé's worldwide hit song is, in fact, a cover of the singer BC Jean ? Having known that her song has been covered, BC Jean started a trial.
According to the site samples.fr, Beyoncé's worldwide hit "If I Were A Boy" is actually a cover ! The song has been written & sun by a young 21-year-old Californian girl, BC Jean, who worked with Toby Gad. Without ending the production of this song, he took it without BC Jean's agreement & gave it to former Destiny's Child. Having known that her song has been covered, the young singer started a trial. She should record a duet with Beyoncé to stop rumours. The same thing happened with Nolwenn Leroy's "Cassé", first recorded by Pedro Alves. After Nolwenn's winning at Star Academy second season, the song, written by Lionel Florence & composed by Francis Maggiulli, has been given to the singer, without telling Pedro Alves.
