| Black Rebel Motorcycle Club took their name from the biker gang led by Marlon Brando in 50's movie, The Wild One. The band are based in San Francisco, California USA, and began playing together in 1998. Peter Hayes and Robert Turner, former High School friends, released a 13 track demo with English-born, Nick Jago. Relentlessly, they toured up and down the West Coast until they caught the attention of record labels. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club joined with Virgin Records in 2000 and released their debut self titled album in 2001. In 2004, however, they parted their ways from Virgin Records.
The band is made up of: Robert Turner; guitar, vocals, bass Peter Hayes; guitar, bass, vocals Nick Jago; drums. |
