I LOVE this song! Its like everytime i hear it, its the very first time and it stirs something inside me which is just so deep.
Sounds so dumb but yeah. The truly good "love" make you imagine that your loved one is singing it to you, and this is one of them.

you know that one guy, who means the world to you, but he doesnt know it? well actually he knows all right... but he wont give me the light of day because hes afraid it will hurt his 'social statis'. that one weekend though, is enough to keep me holding on f o r e v e r... and you know, that weekend was in october... and this song, my friend told me that i sang it in my sleep one time when i was sleeping over at her house (and she lives by him...) and then later i found out it was by blue OCTOBER. and it was a CHURCH RETREAT gosh darn it! why does he want to do this to me? i love him so, so much.

| I know what y'all mean. I love this song. Blue October has incredible songs and incredible talent. The moment I heard this song it slapped me in the face cause me and a friend are in a similar situation, and though she's not my girlfriend I jump hoops constantly trying to make her happy. I have it playing while I write this and I'm trying to memorize it so I can serenade her with it so she'll know how I fell. ^_^, yeah that's right I'm crazy but I love this band, and I am absolutely in love with this song. While sweet in a way this song is only more proof of what we already know about Justin and his mental problems.
This reminds me of my husband when we were dating and was he unmedicated. It was driven by obsession and paranoia aswell as a low self esteem. It was not fun or romantic.
He got the help he needed and shit has improved by leaps and bounds, but this song saddens me a little everytime I hear it. |
