| Harold Elwin "Bo" Bice, Jr. was born November 1, 1975 in Huntsville, Alabama to Nancy and Harold Elwin Bice. He was nicknamed "Bogart" as a child by his grandmonther because she thought he had "Humphrey Bogart eyes". The nickname stuck with him until kindergarten when he shortened it to Bo, because Bogart "wasn't cool". His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother re-married and when he was 14 they moved to England where he lived until he was 18. He is an American singer and musician who became a runner-up in the fourth season of American Idol, just behind Carrie Underwood. Since his run on Idol, Bice has released three studio records. The first, titled "The Real Thing" was released December 13, 2005 under RCA Records and peaked at #4 on the charts. His second album, titled "See the Light", was realesed October 23, 2007 but didn't fare so well on the charts, only peaking at #150 and selling 62,000 copies. He released his third, and most recent, album titled "3" on May 18, 2010 but just like the former, didn't fare so well. Only selling 11,000 copies in the U.S., the album peaked at #154 on the charts. Bice married Caroline Fisher on June 15, 2005 in Helena, Alabama after two years of dating. The couple has four children, three sons and one daughter, and now reside in Nashville, TN. |
