And you can't compare Bob Dylan's version to the Guns n' Roses one- it's totaly different. Like VicarInAtutu said, he wrote the song in five minutes. He didn't put much effort in it. It has awesone lyrics, but he sings like a bycicle. Guns n' Roses took Bob's song and made it a Guns n' Roses song. That's what's so special about it.

I mean, I like gnr version too, in fact i listened to it before i heard the original, but cmon, Dylan's just Dylan and very few artists can ever compare to him. Maybe Jimi's Along the Watchtower version, but thats Hendrix... Im just saying a good but seriously overrated band like GnR cannot beat a god like Dylan. Nuff said about that. I love this song. Whoever sings it. Even Avril Lavigne can kick some ass with this song but thats coz the song is brilliant.
