First of all Brand New is the shit, period. I was watching the video for Sic Transit Gloria, and I want some feed back to see if anyone agrees with me on the video's meaning. The video begins with him running from something, until he sees the door with the sheep. The buildings symbolise girls. When he comes in he is in control of every other guy who was there and had failed. The things he does to the other guys are the good and the bad parts of relationship, love, anger, etc. The touching of the girl and the tnocking over of the table show these. When he actully meets the girl and he pushes it with her, taking off her shirt, he discovers he is no longer in control, and that she has only claimed another victim. I think it's about the false sence of security you can attain in a relationship, and with out you knowing how fast you can loose it. PalyingSG, i like your theory.
i came to this thread (apart from to hail the awesomness that is Brand New) to find out what the vid was all about. i thought of a couple of the things you said but overall i couldn't figure out what the message i had deciphered had to do with the song. it's frustrating.
