| The greatest CD I have EVER listened to.
I think I must have listened to it over 46754564 times at least. There is no bad song...They could all be hits. it's just overall awesome, even though the difficulty of the music is limited. These guys were teens when they created mos tof the songs which is just amazing..
I used to prefer "Deja Entendu" but this album really grew on me. Most of it is upbeat and uptempo, but then you have some awesome slow songs like Soco and Mix Tape... I could probably go on and on about every song, but I won't. You should go get this CD or PM me and I will send it to you. You have to listen to it all. It will change you.

Firstly, this album is the start of a fantastic line up. When I first found Brand New, they had just released Transit Gloria (Glory Fades) and I was in love. Not puppy love, but complete jaw dropping and obsession like love that has stayed with me for so many years and will never die. I bought Deja Entendu, then realised there was this album too (what I was a newbie to Brand New *blushes*), I couldn't buy this album anywhere, but I some how found individual songs on limewire and whatnot... I fell in love with it, and immediately ordered it online, twice. One for listening, and one for safe keeping. Jesse Lacey's voice is just developing, trying to find the place where it sounds the best, he almost gets the mark in No Seatbelt Song. But the lyrics have always been exceptional, and they keep getting better each and every album that is released... this is definately an album to listen to, and this is definately a band to go and see... they are absolutely amazing live! Give these guys as much encouragement as possible and buy the albums, you know you want to! |
