There's something about this song that just cuts me to the bone - it's my favourite song on the album by far, just because every time I listen to it, it gives me goosebumps.
There's a very strong theme of death and loss running through the whole album, IMO, and I think, if the order of tracks is changed around a bit, I think it tells the story of what happened - I don't know if it's real, or if I'm just reading waaaay too deep into the tracks, but I think if I was right with this, it would fantastic.
This song in particular just seems to speak so strongly about Loss, and giving up , and I think it's one of Breaking Benjamins best tracks to date, purely because of the story within the lyrics.
Well, that's my $0.02.

| Somehow this song reminds of One by Metallica. It got the same chilling war-effect. A person that's losing his life in a war or got a really rough time. Listen to it everyday, great track, one of the best on the album.
