Brooke Fraser Discover the New Zealand-born singer Brooke Fraser. She comes to Europe with her new single, "Something In The Water", from her third album Flags, already released in the United States. If you liked Sara Bareilles & KT Tunstall, you'd be touched by Brooke Fraser too.

The New Zealander's new single "Something In The Water", already a hit in Australia & the United States, is currently aired in Europe. Between pop & folk, Brooke Fraser is one of this year's newcomers. However, in her native Oceania, the singer released 3 albums : What To Do With Daylight in 2003, Albertine in 2006 & the most recent, Flags in 2010. We don't know whether it'll be available in France but you can download it on import. From a musical & artistic point of view, the 27-year-old young woman reminds us of the happy & funny universe of Sara Bareilles & KT Tunstall.

Flags has been recorded in Hollywood during summer 2010. We can feel this atmosphere on the acoustic track, released last autumn. She went on tour in Australia, the United States & New Zealand, where each concert was sold out. Not a surprise because the album has been N°1 in her native country & N°59 in the American Billboard. Lauded by critics, "Something In The Water" launched the artist's popularity in Europe & Asia.

Apart from her guitar, Brooke Fraser is attached to humanitary causes. During her American tour, the artist took contact with "Charity: Water" for an operation, for which she asked 27 $ to each fan, for her 27th birthday. She needed 50 000 $ to build a well with drinkable water in Ethiopia, that's been the case. She continues her work with "World Vision" & "Opportunity International" & went to poor countries like Rwanda.
