Other things might be fun, but it wouldn't be fun watching my best friend die without having tried to tell him that with God he could live forever in heaven. | I went to a church camp this summer and for every person that went our lives were changed and instead of saying we were christians we started to live the life. Its rare that you see your prayers answered right in front of you but there were two boys from our church that were drug dealers and just not good kids but there hearts were and the whole church prayed for them and they both accepted Christ and to see there faces on the groud worshiping the Lord showed me how powerful God was. The cool thing is that now they are great witnesses to those wh are doing drugs and one of the boys had a friend he refused to give up on him and he read this song to him and the boy accepted Christ and it was amazing. i love this song it is an awsome song!!! but its makes me cry. i have 2 really good friend whos not saved and onews just not oging down the right path. and the other one has issues with her parents...they're divorced and her dad is a christian but he's like totally mean to her so she's like leary of christians...and she says that i'm the only christian besides her father that she knows and like she asked me to pray for her friends mom who has cancer and i have but i'm so concered for both of them...because i'm like the only witnesses in there life. but this is just so inspiring for me | | 0 @ 12-09-2005 00:12 Krissy_x3 | 4 posts

I love this song! I have had the Casting Crowns CD for a while and I had heard this song before but I had never listened to the words until yesterday. It makes me think "what AM I so afraid of?" I have a friend who doesn't know the Lord and I took her to church a long time ago but I have never seriously talked to her about God. I have always hesitated because I don't know what her response would be........will she laugh? will she think I'm crazy? But this song makes me realize WHO CARES! Who cares about all that trivial crap? And now as I think about what we normally talk about, it makes the song all the more true....."here I go again, I'm talking about the rain, and mullin over things, that won't live past today...". And while I'm talking to her about the rain, it could be my last chance to tell her that God loves her......... |
