This song has a lot of meaning for me and I'm sure its a song many can relate to. "I traced the cord back to the wall, no wonder it was never plugged in at all." I think they are trying to say that they thought their life was going good but in the end they never really knew what it was all about. This song is deep!

There were about 20 of us -guys and girls-and we used to sit on these seats at recess and lunch. and we would brake out singing the chorus. We didn't know what the song was about though.
