If so we need to meet up. He just makes me cry, I dont even need a man in my life, I can just listen to him and I no longer feel alone, with lyrics such as 'Would have been the father of your child' and 'Touched me heart, touched my soul...my love was blinded by you'- the tears are starting to pour now ... He's such an amazing artist, his lyrics are incredible and his voice goes perfect with every song. So, I bought the album, every song was brilliant... and then I came to this one... which was so beautiful it made me cry. I absolutely adore it - it's not usual I give the full 5-star to songs these days, but this song is absolutely... wow.

'your beautiful' drew me into his works and 'goodbye my lover' showed me the true substance of his lyrics. its probably true that most people who like this song can relate to a similar experience in their lives. the tone, rhythm and vocal emotion of this song perfectly conjures up the heartwrenching emotions he is trying to convey. i used to listen to this over and over in the car... because it was exactly what i felt at the time... it felt good to get the saddness out... ciao
