1 posts	Is there anyone out there who thinks that there is merit to looking at the song another way? When I first heard it. It sounded to me very very much like a suicide note. " I took what's mine by eternal right" The only thing that is anyones by eternal right is their own life isn't it? I dont know. Just my spin on it. Wanted to see what you all thought.

This song is really expressing how i feel...hollow. It comforts me tho because it's like we're talking to eachother though the lyrics. I always end up in floods of tears where ever it's played mind you but james blunt knows and understands how me and everyone that knew him feel.

Breaking up songs are always something we can identify with and 'feel their pain'. Just think back to how popular 'I will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston was. It's more the emotion that they evoke than the content of the song, there are better lyrics out there in my opinion, but they won't hit the same emotional places.
