sophomore is second year, saying two years would have worked just fine

| right, i am bringing down this discussion, no one has posted in here for about two days. i do not really call this a discussion. why are you taking it personal if someone does not like a song you like
i never insulted this song or "hated" on it. i was asking a question. i just wanted to know, are there places where your third year is called a sophomore, i know he is not stupid. he purposly (sp?)said three years instead of two. why? that is all. i do not understand it so i am asking about it. |

freshman (9th grade)
sophomore(10th grade)
junior (11th grade)
senior (12th grade)
it goes for college too, i know that she could have stayed and extra year but if she was a sophomore that is only the second year so it would be two years. i am seriously not trying pick at it, but he said three for a reason i wanted to know.
was it supposed to be as a joke or is there actually a meaning about it

Just a thought, but 'Sophomore three year' could mean that she's got three years left and still hasn't picked a career. Because at the begining of your sophomore year you have three years left of high school/college. I don't really know though, that was just a guess. |
