Try listeneing to a band like Shadows Fall or Machine Head, or even Monster Magnet. If you like Linkin Park better than that stuff, maybe you should be listening to jazz or something, because rock isn't the genre for you. Secondly, it's astounding to me, as a musician, how incredibly basic and featureless Linkin Park's music is. No solos, they play something like four different chords on this whole album, and their drummer could be replaced by an electronic drum machine and it would be an improvement. The singer sounds like a baby having a tantrum, and the rapper sounds like he's reading lyrics off of cue cards. It's just so boring.

This song even has the rap and yelling chorus - its as if its a 4/4 version of 'from the inside'. u won't understand this if u dont know basic music theory so if u dont disregard this post.
