Good Song though. Pretty good video too. Never seen a video by them I havent liked (yet and hopefully never will).

There is very little screaming in that song and it is much softer than most of their other stuff. (I just like to spark some controversy.. these forums were boring without me around. LOL JK guys )

So first of all the lyrics... the whole idea of "melting in your eyes" is one of the best description of emotion i have yet to hear about the feeling one experiences in the single moment they sit with one they care so much for, and realize thats the only place they want to be. "seemed to stop my breath. My head on your chest, waiting to cave in.." I feel that these lines can relate strongly to so many people, and that is why it is so popular. it shows the curiousity and excitment (seemed to stop my breath) ...the trust (my head on your chest)...and finally the question/doubt (waiting to cave in).. the fact that the song opens with these lines, engages the listener. finally, my last comment..i promise.. is how the song repeatidly refers to things that are impossible... "can we dim the sun" "my heart stopped beating" "never caught my breath" "sleep til the sun burns out" ...if you dimmed the sun, stopped your heart, and stopped breathing, you would, in essence..die. i feel this has a strong suggestion to the meaning and overall impact of the song. its enchanting in the best kind of way great song ps.. the rhythm=catchy melody= ingenius instruments= not the main focus, but equally awesome lyrics= previously discussed ^^^^ Vocal= yes, we all know he has a sexy voice. ive saw him in concert either right before the cd released or right after he's quite an entertainer. they all are
