I believe that this is one of my favorite incubus songs. Sometimes, when i'm listening to I Wish You Were right before i go to sleep, i just think "wow i wish chris was here" chris = boyfriend. And i just want to cry because he isn't. This is mine and chris' song i believe. We have a lot, but this one sums it up the most  i love I Wish You Were Here!  |

Me andmy friend Kathrine called random people in America using Skype. I talked to this guy called Jon, and the next couple of weeks me and Kathrine only talked about him. I realized how nice he really was, and FUNNY! One day i watched this sad movie and he told me how he wished that he had watched it with me. I slowly started to fall in love with him and i got butterflies in my stomach everytime he signed on. One day he gave me this song, and he said: I know you're gonna like it. And I did .. I fall in love with this guy just as i falled in love with this beautiful song, Wish You Were Here. We've never met, but someday i hope we will, cuz he's really cute and i think i love him.
I WISH YOU WERE HERE IS THE GREATESTS SONG EVER ... and so is Incubus. My favorite band  |

never can get sick of it!! a special boy i kno learnt this on the drums and we adore this song and it reminds me of him and the beach. i used two lines i think off this song as a metaphor in an english essay - the sky resembles a backlit canopy with wholes punched in it AND the ocean looks like a thousand diamonds strewn across a blue blanket and to incubus's credit and all due-respect, i walked away with a very satisfiable B+
