1 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal When I first heard this song at a concert at church, the first thought that jumped to mind was that this song is being sung to somebody who is downtrodden and depressed. Maybe it means that this guy has made a mistake, and he feels that he needs to go back in time to change that. Actually, now that I look at the lyrics, it sounds like this guy's mistake, or whatever has happened to him, has brought him down to earth. Maybe he's just been saved, and he's lying in a pool of his own joyful tears. Anyway, I think that the main message of this song is that we all make mistakes in life, but we have to pick ourselves up, and keep on walking on the path of life until we meet with our Saviour. The words "Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell" to me mean that this guy realised his mistake as soon as he made it, instantly repented and was forgiven for his sins and is now a child of God.

Jon really went all out on this one, and really glad he did! i LIVE for this song! i remember the first time i heard it, it made cry so hard, i was red for the whole day! but it was soooo worth it. oh and about the whole music video thing, it means that the guy who like, is choking on water, he has like a choice to make. he can give up and just...let go. or he can keep fighting and stay alive. thats where the whole, "Dare You To Move" line comes from....duh.... switchfoot rox!!!!!!!

Ever since I heard Jamie Sharp from South Berwick sing this song, I was so into listening to them, but didn't have their cd, and i barel heard them on the radio. Thankfully my friend from school let my copy his Beautiful Letdown cd..YAY!! Overall, totally love this song

Every time I hear this song I want to cut off my ears and dig a knife into my brain to make sure that it does not repeat itself in my head. Worst. Christian Song. Ever. You should all go and listen to some Mark Heard and Larry Norman. They have real passion and music talent, not to mention they dont sing crappy songs.

4 posts	I loveeeee this song but I didn't pay attention at the lyrics when I heard it first. I didn't know the song has a religion meaning... I'm a bit disappointed because I didn't know this band was religious and I'm not. But I won't stop listening to this band because I love it too much!!! I don't really understand the meaning of the song and the video didn't help me neither... Can someone explain to me please ??? (english is not my first language so it's harder! )
