This song is such a great single but the Used has so many better song then this.. dont get me wrong this song is really good but I hate when people "love the Used" just because of this song.. It probelly the only song they ever heard... I think they have at least 8 better song then this and most people only heard this song.. Who agrees with me!

36 posts	i don't claim to love the used, well, actually i don't love them anyway, but this is an awesome song. so catchy it kind of forces you to listen to it. but i find it hard to believe it's just about him losing his puppy. i mean, yeah, it works, but couldn't he have been using a bit of sarcasm when he said that? he's not a kid. i just lost someone i loved last year, so my take on this song is influenced by that, and it makes it really personal for me. i think it's about how when you learn of the death of a loved one, the shock is so great that you don't even feel it ("so deep that it didn't even bleed") and with all the people supporting you during those times, you're "far from lonely" and "it's all that you've got", but since you're still in disbelief of what's happened, all they see is you pretending that you're not okay, since it hasn't really even hit you yet. so yeah, that's my take. one of the few songs that have made me cry! (and i feel like i'm just throwing that out there since no one else has said anything about their interpretation besides "it's about his dog.") anyone got anything different?
