Just shitty compared to their other songs, and the lyrics are trashy, too. They don't always send the poor to war, all classes go, oh .. and there is no draft any longer, the fuck are you talking about Serj? It doesn't help that this isn't even good vocally, either. Boo, I hope the rest of the album isn't like this shit.

Vocals? Awesome. SOAD doesn't mean to sound 'pretty'. The vocals are raw and that's how they should be. If Serj tried to sound 'pretty' in every song you'd loose so much emotion in the songs. With the references to bombs, oil, and deserts, I'd assume this is still about the war in Iraq, though it could certainly tie in with, well, any war. And what a wonderfully ignorant attitude we have! "It doesn't affect me so my opinion still stands" or something like that? Wow.

Most of the kids I know don't even take a second look at SOAD because they want to listen to a song like...oh say..."Candy Shop". (And might I say, that song is a piece of crap.) I guess what's on their minds is not our government and our society, but having sex with ugly guys. Sorry... xD But anyways...System of a Down is really awesome - the emotion in their songs almost cannot be paralled. I will always love them, ROCK ON!

Boo, I hope the rest of the album isn't like this shit. thankyou. after reading 3 pages of praise for this pathetic excuse for a song it was refreshing to meet a proper SOAD fan. this song is horrible. The guitar riffs are far too generic and dont allow daron to show off his skill enough (viva suite pee!), the harmonies are really annoying and too repetitive and john's once awesome drumming has been replaced by nu-metal-esque crap. self-titled was brilliant. toxicity was great. steal this album was lacking, with a few saving songs (roulette etc). mesmerize and hypnotize? theyre going to suck. and you know what the sad thing is? theyll sell more than any other system cd.
