29 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal Hogoat GreenDay have took a step and have realised that life isn't all fun and games, they have moved there music to political and sociable music that has a greater meaning than getting stoned, therefore this song has depicted how a young man looking for honour joins the army and then realises his choices aren't justified, the line '' Like my fathers come to pass, 7 years has gone so fast'' then within one song he changes it to ''20 years has gone so fast'' it means how life can be short and you need to take action now, he justifies the choice of joining the army because the young manthinks he's useless and wants to act.
